In a single 90-minute appointment, we’ll explore what’s going on, clarify your goals, and identify small, manageable steps you can take straight away. Whether you’re looking for insight, direction, or a fresh perspective with some practical next steps, single-session therapy can help you move forward.
Is This Approach Right for You?
This single-session approach to therapy might suit you if:
- You feel caught in behaviours that don’t align with your values and want to understand why
- You’ve tried to stop before and slipped back, and want help understanding what’s getting in the way of change
- You’re not ready, or don’t have time, for ongoing longer-term therapy but still want some support

Please note, this isn’t a shortcut or a replacement for longer term therapy, but it can offer a clear, structured option that offers insight, motivation, and a practical, accessible plan.

Single-session therapy is designed to focus on one key issue or theme.
It includes:
- A free 15-minute call to check whether this approach feels right for you
- A detailed pre-session questionnaire to understand the background and help us focus the session
- A 90-minute session exploring what’s happening, what feels possible, and what might help
- A personalised resource pack sent afterwards
This is not about squeezing months of therapy into one conversation. It’s about helping you take one meaningful step forward, with clarity, focus, and support.
Support When You Need It
You don’t need to commit to ongoing therapy to benefit from support. This session can:
- Offer a practical starting point for change
- Help you decide whether therapy is something you'd like to pursue
- Give you tools to manage things differently, even if you're not ready for regular sessions
Clients often say that one focused session, where they can talk openly without fear of judgement, is what helped them take the first step towards change.
Fee £250
This includes:
- A 90-minute focused therapy session
- Pre-session preparation
- A tailored follow-up pack sent after the session
A follow-up session is optional and can be booked separately at my standard session rate. Some clients find it helpful to check in about a month later to review progress or revisit strategies.
Next Steps: How to Book
- Book your free 15-minute introductory call via Calendly or email me to check availability
- If it feels right, we’ll schedule your 90-minute session
- You’ll complete a pre-session questionnaire, ideally at least 7 days in advance
- Attend the session and leave with a clearer sense of direction and practical next steps
What Happens After You Book
- I’ll send you a payment link
- Once payment is received, you’ll receive a detailed questionnaire to complete
- The questionnaire helps me prepare the session to be as focused and relevant as possible
- After the session, you’ll receive a personalised resource pack within 7 days
Privacy and Confidentiality
Everything you share in the questionnaire and session is confidential. Information is stored securely and used only to support your therapy. I would only break confidentiality if I feel there is a serious risk of harm to you or someone else, or if I am required to do so by law.
I follow UK GDPR guidance on data protection. Your information is stored securely, used only to support your therapy, and never shared without your consent unless required by law or to keep someone safe. You have the right to access, correct or request the deletion of your data.
Cancellations and Refunds
Single-session therapy involves a high level of preparation. If you cancel more than 7 days before your session, you may be eligible for a partial refund, depending on whether you’ve submitted your questionnaire.
Cancellations within 7 days are non-refundable due to the preparation time already committed. I’ll always do my best to reschedule where possible.
Your Right to Cancel
Under UK consumer law, you're entitled to a 14-day cooling-off period when booking online. Because sessions are often scheduled within that time, you’ll be asked to confirm whether you’re happy to waive this right so I can begin preparing your session. This allows me to begin preparing for your session straight away.
If you prefer not to waive your cooling-off rights, that’s absolutely fine. In that case, we can arrange your session to take place after the 14-day window has passed.
And If You Want to Continue After The Single-Session
While this session is designed to stand alone, it can also be the beginning of something more.
If you’d like to follow up, we can talk about whether an occasional check-in or more structured support might be helpful at my standard session rate.
